Finding the necessary treatment and support is essential in helping people move forward in their journey of recovery.
Mental health care is unique in that state and local governments finance and manage
a distinct health care system for people with mental health disorders.
Ohio's public mental health system includes ODMH, 50 county and multi-county boards,
and nearly 500 community mental health agencies. A number of national, state and local resources are also available to provide information and support to consumers and their families.
